CUTTING
GRANITE DEPOT installed The Robo SawJet, which is our programmable Saw and Abrasive WaterJet cutting system. Robo SawJet combines traditional stone processing technology with lean industrial machine technologies to provide precision cutting operations. Robo SawJet utilizes a KUKA robot equipped with the simplicity of a conventional saw in combination with the flexibility of abrasive waterjet technology.
WATERFALL MITER
GRANITE DEPOT recognizes the high demand of designers and architects for elegant stone features and the fabricators need to make clean, quick and accurate miters to meet these waterfall islands, Countertops. GRANITE DEPOT installed The Miter X System, which is the first machine of its kind to simply and speedily cut accurate miters for a wide range of applications including Waterfall models. It works on engineered stone, granite, and marble.
POLISHING
The LCV 711M is the industry standard for flat polish machinery. This machine is capable of polishing flat edges from 1-6 cm thick, on various types of materials with speeds ranging from 80-275 linear feet per hour. The LCV works on a continuous mode operation, meaning that all pieces are loaded one after the other, while moving past a series of polishing motors that result in a finished product which includes a top and bottom micro-bevel when needed.
